I want to write to my MP (who, despite being a Tory is actually fairly reasonable) and say that I think schools should be closed and ask him to intervene.
I'm in the West Midlands.
What should I say? Has anyone got a template or something similar? I know rates are very high in my town but I don't think they're London-high. I just worry that if I don't have a watertight data-filled argument, he will fob me off with stats, when my real point is actually 'This is getting dangerous can we not just shut down for a bit and wait for the vaccine to kick in? Take some action BEFORE we're at the London stage?' We are an hour from London, closer to Birmingham.
