And if so, has anyone got a link? I can’t seem to find one. The current sage not the ex one.

Thank you.

If they have, then it is just that -advice. Contrary to what it appears they do not actually have the authority to dictate-we elected a gvt to do that -unfortunately they seem to have abdicated decision making to the over/promoted Whitty.

Yes I know that but I am just trying to find a link. It’s for grassroots football purposes. If anyone could help me out, thanks.

They recommended all schools and universities close, although some news organisations reported the “Closing secondary schools would have more impact than primary” part as though it was the main thing they said.

This quotes them: www.ft.com/content/b7e295f3-38a0-4c35-afb9-6872705a8ec2

Couldn’t open that link. I’m the welfare officer at grassroots tier four. Technically we can still play football but lots of clubs in the city have cancelled. I have one parent really kicking off saying the scientists have said it’s fine for primary kids to return. I wanted some evidence.

The Independent Sage Twitter feed also quotes various epidemiologists on this:

Sorry about the FT link being subscription only. If you google “Plan to reopen England’s schools within two weeks FT” it should come up with the article to read for free.
