To anyone who lost someone to Covid this year, we lost two relatives we are going honour them tonight and raise a glass to know they are not forgotten, feeling rather sad, lets hope 2021 is kind. x

I've lost two uncles recently. My mum is just devastated. Flowers to all those who've lost loved ones this past year.

I lost my Mam and an Aunt. Nearly my Dad too. I know it happened but it still doesn't feel real. Best wishes to everyone on this thread, I hope we all find peace.

I called it a disease yesterday , it's not it's a virus.
My dad tried to fight it off ( he was 98 with dementia) but he couldn't.
I'm sure that many others in care homes were the same.
I know he was elderly but I still miss going to visit him and talking to the staff. He was a good dad worked hard all his life and a WW2 veteran. Seeing captain Tom on tv was like seeing my own dad!
We were able to have 30 at his funeral back in June in the end and it was nice the whole family could come plus two of his carers who made the effort to come along too, which was much appreciated. Such kind people.
I'm sorry for those that lost their loved ones last year many of which was much more unexpected than my dads was but not being with him when he died is hard to live with.
