Two periods of self isolation back to back?

I got a notification through the app that I needed to self isolate for 9 days. That 9 day period included Christmas and was due to end tomorrow.

DP (in my support bubble but doesn't live here) has yesterday come down with a diarrhoea bug which today has turned into fever, runny nose, fatigue and feeling generally shit.

I'm going to have to continue to self isolate until he's (hopefully) had a negative test aren't I?!

I was so excited to get outside in the fresh air for a walk tomorrow Sad getting very low on milk and other essentials now too.

Only if you’ve seen him in the last 48hours:

‘someone in your support bubble has symptoms and you’ve been in close contact with them since their symptoms started or during the 48 hours before they started‘

He was last here about 44 hours before the headache and diarrhoea started on 29 Dec. Stayed over Boxing Day night and left lunchtime on 27th.

To get your essentials, you might be able to get a coop same delivery. Sainsbury's also do them through their app chop chop. Or deliveroo do supermarket or mini market deliveries in many areas.
