Does anyone know how long it takes for a positive test to be included in the daily stats?

I've tried googling but can't find the info. Does anyone know how long it takes for a positive test to be included in the daily reported stats? For example, today's 50,000 positive cases, were they diagnosed yesterday or days ago? I'm just intrigued....

Those were results issued yesterday, so for tests in the few days prior.

Go to the cases and look under the data tab. It will show you the actual specimen date of the figures for today, which are spread over the last few days.

A few days. The Christmas stats will be probably start coming through next week.
