I’ve read a few post worrying about fines etc.

On our parents WhatsApp group those of us who are aghast at the ‘carry on as usual’ announcement tonight’, have vulnerable dc or are vulnerable ourselves have decided upon a course of action that won’t result in fines.

Dc will have covid ‘symptoms’ from Monday but either a test won’t be available or dc wouldn’t tolerate it/it couldn’t be done properly.

That gives you ten days of isolation.

An episode of ‘d&v’ at the end of those ten days will get you to two weeks.

I imagine by then we will have a clearer picture of what is going to happen.

To those who aren’t worried at all, bully for you.
