Where the heck is Nicola Sturgeon?

From what I have seen, Sturgeon hasn't given any updates on coronavirus since before Christmas. Have I missed them somehow? They're usually at 12.15.

She’ll be on today to say they’re voting against the brexit deal —in what is definitely not just a political power play— and then giving a Covid press conference later.

I don’t like her but she’s from Ayrshire and it’s the Christmas holidays. She’s probably been staying in her jammies and drinking baileys out a mug.

I don't like her either, but I would like to know what's been happening with the virus up here. Unless I missed some reports, it's been a week since there was a press conference (with or without her).

I love NS and think she's a legend but she's on my naughty list for voting no deal. I personally think she wants brexit to be as bad as possible, to fuel her indy drive. Her worst fear is that not much happens and we all move on.

Regardless of what you think about her politics she's been 'on' almost constantly for months. Don't be grudging her a couple of days of peace and quiet!

Who would have wanted to hear her on Christmas Day / Boxing Day anyway??

Just to be clear, I wasn't talking generally about her, but about the seeming lack of information on the virus situation over Christmas. I'm sure she'll be all over TV with the Brexit stuff.

There's Scottish news programmes on every day. And loads of figures online.

Perhaps I was a bit unclear initially--I don't care whether she's on the TV or someone else. I'd just like to have some information on the situation. I have tracked down yesterday's figures on the scot.gov website so know where to go in the future.

She was interviewed on the BBC yesterday outdoors in a pretty scarf.

Travelling Tabby is pretty good for the stats rather than trying to read it on the ScotGov website.

The last I heard, people were complaining when she was on every day as it was "pure self promotion".

@slashlover ah I never thought of that 🙄 except she’s fucking everywhere just now. Impossible to avoid hearing her at least once a day. I used to be a perfectly happy functional person until the beginning of this year. Now her voice sets off an anxiety I never used to have.

Weird. I've only seen her on the news and the OP is about her not being on TV. Is she popping up in Loose Women as a panellist or one of the contestants on the Chase?
