Just wondered if anyone experienced a loss of smell and/or taste, which turned out to be their only symptom of Covid? Mine has gone today but I feel otherwise fine. I have a test booked for tomorrow AM anyway

Yes, I have spoken to many people who were prompted to test by loss of taste and turned out to be positive.

yes. DD (14) lost her sense of smell. Was otherwise totally fine, absolutely no other symptom. We only realised when she complained that the new perfume she got for Christmas didn't smell of anything! (She then mentioned she hadnt been able to small the cat food the day before when she fed that cat!) Positive result returned this morning for her. Very, very gald we didnt mix any households at Chrismtas now as we would never have known as she is so totally well!
