Sorry if this has been done to death (please be kind) I did look and didn't see a thread.
What were your early symptoms? I have a sore throat I know it's my glands I can feel they are swollen and sore. Very sore. Paranoid it'll develop into covid. Thanks.

Sudden cough and temp.
Achey flu like feeling, weird smoke smell in nose then complete loss of taste and smell.

No sore throat but I did have a croaky voice.

MissSmiley · 28/12/2020 06:07

My DD15 had a headache then next day slight sore throat and a temperature

I started with feeling dizzy and a slight temperature

Littlepond · 28/12/2020 06:31

Mine started with worst headache ever then chills and shivering then loss of smell and taste

Whatayear1234 · 28/12/2020 06:32

Stomach pains in waves, followed by fatigue straight after

FiveMoreMinutesPlease · 28/12/2020 06:41

DS was headaches and really tired. A bit of a cough and a slight temperature.

nosleepmonkey · 28/12/2020 06:42

@nosleepmonkey it was a real mixed bag! 😷
I hope you aren't too poorly.

Porcupineintherough · 28/12/2020 09:43

First time - diarrhoea.
Second time - sore throat (glands up), sore, bunged up sinuses, sore tongue. Then cough.

Porcupineintherough · 28/12/2020 09:44

Oh, and sneezing. Was sneezing like crazy.

starrynight19 · 28/12/2020 09:47

A scratchy throat and a full head cold , ear ache , head ache , blocked nose and fatigue.
Nausea and diahorrea followed and it took a week for the cough / bad chest.
Never had a temperature at all.

Mine started with a headache and a high temperature which subsequently lasted for 16 days.

Ivytheterrible79 · 28/12/2020 09:56

Back ache and leg ache. Then loss of smell and taste.

Pechanga · 28/12/2020 10:24

@Porcupineintherough

Did you test positive for coronavirus twice?

ValancyRedfern · 28/12/2020 10:53

Don't worry op. For most people Covid is extremely mild. My first symptom was nausea, then I lost my sense of taste and smell. I didn't have any other symptoms. If it weren't for the Covid rules I wouldn't have needed any time off work.

Porcupineintherough · 28/12/2020 11:00

@Pechanga yes and no. Sick in March, no testing available. Positive for antibodies in July. Negative for antibodies in September. Sick again 10 days ago and tested positive for cv just before Christmas.

BexR · 28/12/2020 11:10

Oh bloody hell @Porcupineintherough. That's awful. Get well soon all

Whatayear1234 · 28/12/2020 11:16

@Porcupineintherough this is my fear. Mine started Easter weekend when you couldn't get a test unless you were a front line worker. It kind of frustrates me that I dont have proof (silly I know). I only recovered properly in October so definitely don't want it again!
I hope you have a quick recovery!

LazyLucille · 28/12/2020 11:45

Headache that just wouldn't go and an achy body like when you have had a heavy gym session.

Porcupineintherough · 28/12/2020 12:14

@Whatayear1234 the good news is that both ds1 and myself had it very mildly this time (tbf he was pretty mild the first time, but I was really sick and developed long COVID). So try not to worry too much.

Porcupineintherough · 28/12/2020 12:17

Should also add that dh didnt get it this time and that was with me and ds sneezing all over him before knew what it was. So for some immunity does last.

PandemicPavolova · 28/12/2020 12:19

Stomach pains, gastro symptoms, extreme fatigue, feeling like on another planet... Then loss of smell and tate.. It didn't develop further.

Friolero · 28/12/2020 12:21

Headache and sore throat, followed by a cough.
