Dd tested positive on Monday after being asked to SI by school on friday and developing mild symptoms over the weekend. We did a postal test and were offered them for the whole family (3 of us). Me and DH were negative on Monday but have been feeling under the weather since around weds/Thurs.

We both have headaches, fatigue and shivers. Coughing occasionally and I feel a bit weird, like slightly dizzy and muddy headed. But, all the symptoms are slight and come and go. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm imagining it...

How likely is it we've got COVID? We've all been at home since Friday evening and we've not socially distanced from dd. Her symptoms were so mild I was surprised to get the positive result!

We have 2nd postal tests but can't post them back until Tuesday as there isn't a priority post box nearby doing collections until them. Our nearest test centre is 60 miles.

I'm wondering how likely it is that all 3 of us would have such mild symptoms!?

Your symptoms sound very much like mine when I had at the end of March. My symptoms were intermittent too and all in all lasted 3 weeks. Dry cough, tight chest, headache that lasted 4 days, chills that came and went and mild fevers and flushing. I also felt dizzy at times and a bit strange. Nothing like any other virus I've ever had. I only actually felt really dreadful for 48 hours the rest of the timeI was okay to potter about.

@Benjispruce2

Op I got tested on Christmas Eve at 2pm and had results on Christmas Day 1pm. Very impressive turnaround. Good luck.
My dd can beat that. Tested 5pm Christmas eve and got positive result at 7am. That's 14 hours.

Well we've now tested negative twice but I still have the symptoms. I'm feeling better but have definitely had something. I work from home and the only people I've seen in weeks are DD, DH and the dog!
I wonder if two false negatives is possible???
