Are home testing kits still being delivered

I know obviously Royal Mail won’t be delivering again till the 29th just wondering if home testing kits will be delivered by someone else.

Does Amazon not deliver them too?

Yes, they are still being delivered, but the Gov.uk website does say that between 24th Dec and 2nd January it is quicker to go to a test centre.

I ordered a home test kit on 24th. There was nothing to say what the expected delivery date will be, but I'm assuming it will arrive on 29th.

Yes mine got delivered day before yesterday but issue is it has to be sent close to collection time, which because of covid and Christmas , is all over the place

Amazon are delivering and Royal Mail are collecting around here , royal mail are collecting kits today .

I think it’s says on it not to post on a Sunday or a bank holiday

Ordered mine on 23rd and it came from Amazon delivery on Christmas Eve. No post collection yesterday so did the test and sent back today.

Royal Mail has a bit on their site where you can see your closest collection post box (they’re specific and labelled on the outside) and the pick up times. You can then do your test in line with the pick ups as it should be posted on the day you do it.

Priority Post Box Royal Mail info. Select the Services near you link to look up your closest post box and see the estimated collection times.

I checked out my nearest priority post boxes and most had a collection listed for today at 3pm.
So, test completed at 1pm and posted at 2pm.

I'll report back how long it takes for results to come through

I received mine yesterday morning from Royal Mail, done and posted in a priority post box at 2pm yesterday and delivered to where it should be at 6.50pm

Good luck getting it back in a reasonable time though. Sent ours off 2pm Tuesday and we are still waiting

Got results 6am this morning (negative, I knew it would be I was asked to do one through the Zoe app, I have no symptoms)

Results have just come through. I'm negative, thankfully.
Really impressed with the turn around considering it's the Christmas period.

Ordered test on Thurs 24th (Christmas Eve).
Test arrived on Sat 26th (Boxing Day).
Took test, posted it on 27th (Sunday).
Results came back today (28th Bank holiday)
