We are struggling through for DD2 who is 15 and mercifully covid free. My oldest dd is not here, neither is my mum who died last week so this is tough.

We are probably going to eat in about half hour, but it all tastes lke cardboard.

Weve been pretty sick with covid but we are recovering, its literally lime, kay the table, have a sot down, peel the potatoes...etc

My dogs are a comfort

I'm sorry to hear about your mum Thanks

I'm only a few days in and although I'm not feeling great it's probably not as bad as I was expecting so far.

Have kept Christmas quite low key but think the kids have still enjoyed it. We are delaying Christmas dinner until I'm feeling better.

I hope you feel better soon.

This is awful. I'm so sorry about your mum. My partner has had a positive result today. We don't live together and luckily I didn't see him any time near his infectious period. I just hate to think of him alone. He had to cancel his children visiting too.
I have just had a notification asking me to isolate which I can't understand because I only went to get a pint of milk on the day it says it happened. So all in all its a bit rubbish but nothing like you have been through Flowers

Sorry about your mum. That must be so hard. Flowers

We are doing pretty well. This is the second time round for us and we must have some t cell protection from last time as (touch wood) it is much more mild this time round. And dh as the wellest adult copped making Christmas dinner. Luckily I got my sense of taste back yesterday (but not much in the way of appetite).
