how long did you feel tired for (or have other symptoms for?) I’m on day six after having the vaccine and I still feel so so tired, especially this time of night! Anyone else?

Days 5 & 6 I was so knackered I fell asleep on the sofa whilst dinner was in the oven, was a little better from then on, apart from a killer headache that wouldn’t shift and woke me up several times in the night it was so painful.

I hope you feel better soon Flowers

gingajewel · 24/12/2020 21:43

@SilentlyLaughing Thankyou, I’ve had a really bad head too and have been taking ibuprofen and parocetomal a lot! I’m so exhausted I can hardly move!

Oh no, sorry to hear you've been feeling like this. I assumed these side effects were really rare! Hope you feel better soon.

I had mine on 23rd, care home worker, had a sore arm on the weds night and thurs. But today, xmas day, have woke up with headache and sore throat not sure if related to vaccine but from what you have said sounds like the headache may be, a few of us had it weds and we have all said the same. I thought the fatigue would of kicked in by now, but sounds like that is a bit later.

Egghead68 · 25/12/2020 06:07

I was tired days 3,4 and 5

SophieB100 · 25/12/2020 06:16

My DD (ICU nurse) had her first vaccine (thank God!) last weekend, and apart from a sore arm for a day, had no other side effects.
I hope those of you feeling poorly feel better soon.

I am now on day 3, not sure if coincidence or not but i am absolutely shattered, not usually this tired unless i have done a night shift. Anyone else felt tired.

ggirl · 26/12/2020 16:59

I had it on the 16th , had a tender arm for a few days but no other symptoms

LilyPond2 · 26/12/2020 17:35

Have those of you who have had the vaccine reported via the Zoe app? They have recently started asking people whether they have had the vaccine so that they can gather data about any side effects.

Designateddiver · 26/12/2020 17:39

I had no tiredness but a bit of a dodgy stomach for a day or 2, 1 of my colleagues had tiredness for about 3 days, a few of us have had slightly dodgy stomachs, reported on zoe app

DobbyTheHouseElk · 26/12/2020 17:45

MIL had the vaccine with no side-effects.

LeoTimmyandVi · 26/12/2020 17:54

Yes, very tired for the first few days and an incredibly sore and heavy arm. It was all manageable though and 5 days on I am absolutely fine!

Scottishgirl85 · 26/12/2020 18:49

Husband had it, no side effects at all.
His colleague also had it, and now has tested positive for covid 10 days after vaccine. So please be careful in the interim when your immunity is still developing.

welshweasel · 26/12/2020 18:54

No side effects here (Oxford vaccine though)
