Financial help for self-employed whilst isolating with Covid

I was wondering if anyone else had been in a similar situation. DH is self employed, his work is not currently affected by Covid, but this month he has had to take 11 days off due to being infected with Covid. He has lost a significant amount of income.
I am aware of the self-employed grant, but we don't need that, I just wanted to know if there is any financial help for those days he was isolation.
I have looked online, he has signed into his government gateway account but all they are offering is 80% of 3 months wage. Obviously we can't apply for this as he has been working. I work part time and we don't receive any benefits, if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance.

Don’t think there is anything apart from the grant. My husband didn’t want to apply for this, but both my adult DS’s and I pointed out that as his business has been affected by covid, that he should claim. You have to pay tax and NI on the grant money, so it doesn’t work out as much as 80%. Do the online checker to see how much he would get, then decide if it will cover the lost earnings.

@Mindymomo thanks for your reply. I have done the calculations, and it's much more than he would earn in 11 days. I would be worried we would be claiming something we aren't entitled to.

I get what you mean, but if you need the money, then claim. That’s what it is there for, to help. I’m sure in years to come you will pay it back. Like I said my husband didn’t want to claim and has worked over 45 years and has never received any benefits, but he wasn’t earning as much as normal, he did claim.
