International mumsnetters: how do you feel about your national Covid response?

It seems like the mood in the UK is that the government hasnt handled this very well. Although I accept that may just be the circles I mix in! I did see a twitter survey by Martin Lewis, of money saving fame, and the results seemed to concur that handling has been poor.

Just wondering if other countries are as critical of their governments?

Do other countries and cultures have more respect or acceptance of how its been handled nationally? If so why, is it the style of delivery or the action itself?
