Arf!!

The population is safer with dc in schools 😂😂.

Gosh!!.
Between myself and the dc our bubbles of immediate contact are several hundreds strong! Dd secondary is 200 +. Each one of those pupils and teachers has their own contacts!

I'm in at least 60+ bubble, each student has siblings who are mixing elsewhere, blended families with swooping all the time, each teacher has their own family, dc in other schools or dh working x... Primary dd is probably the most secure, her bubble is 60+ but tighter but again each of her friends has older siblings!

I bring all that to work as do most colleagues.

How can anyone say all that exposure is safer than literally exposure of 4... When we are safely ensconced at home?? How??

Hancock wouldnt say much though would he - education isnt in his remit - any school announcements should be Boris Johnson or Gavin Williamson. Robert JEnrick as well can say a little as education comes within his remit of Communities and Local Government.

@SabrinaTheMiddleAgedBitch

From what I saw the pretty much avoided the subject other than when Jenny Harries reiterated that 'we can't prove children catch it in school, it could be caused by them mixing with friends outside' So 'schools are safe' seems to still be the agenda at the moment
Of course.

They don't catch it mixing with children in school.

It could be mixing with them outside of it 🤦‍♀️🤣
