Day 1 of isolation... Survival tips please

Yesterday I came down with a nasty cough so had a covid test this morning. We've been really lucky as a family so far and it's our first period of isolation.

Massive tesco order is arriving this afternoon so we're sorted for food. Presents are under the tree. So it could be much worse!

Try and stay apart from the rest of the family as much as possible if you have room also if possible use a separate bathroom if you can. One friends teenage son was positive they did this and only he was affected.
Another friend caught it and spread it to 3 other members of her family including her partner who ended up in hospital and nearly died.

Yup, I have my own bedroom and ensuite so am staying separately as much as possible

I hope it's negative but best to have your own towel and flannel cup / glass etc in case it is Covid.
Take care

I am in the same position, however I have a 2 year old and a 6 week old so isolation from the family isnt an option, not to mention I am pretty convinced if I have it that my DD gave it to me from nursery. I am crossing my fingers the test is negative.

Good luck @MummaBear4321 I'm lucky my DCs are older and pretty self sufficient now, as long as there are snacks in the cupboard and WiFi they can fend for themselves for quite a while.
