It is well known that stress affects the immune system. And all the nonsensical rules chopping and changing , promising stuff and then not delivering , the gaslighting the emotional blackmail and the harrassment people are getting because of others interpretation of the rules. The mask exemption hatred. Im also expecting support bubble hatred. Ive seen subtle signs of it on here already. Please try to remember that many elderly disabled people will have told the care workers that usually come to their homes that they wernt needed because they were expecting to be with family. People have been hanging on to a promise of Christmas for MONTHS.

The sadness and stress that will have been caused by this is immense.

When we're stressed, the immune system's ability to fight off antigens is reduced. That is why we are more susceptible to infections. The stress hormone corticosteroid can suppress the effectiveness of the immune system (e.g. lowers the number of lymphocytes)
