Can i be furloughed?

I have been off sick from my job since March and my sick pay has now run out. I think I will be receiving a shielding letter as I am in tier 4 and I was hoping to return to work in the New Year. Dies anyone know if I can be furloughed?

You should ask your employer to be furloughed. Do you have your shielding confirmed yet?
