BA are trying to put on an extra flight to Ireland tonight.

From Gatwick (I think, DH is currently on the phone) There are 500/600 people at the airport trying to get back but they need permission from Ireland as it’s not a scheduled flight!!

BIL is living in London, we’re all Irish. He would be staying with PIL but FIL is vulnerable.

Surely this can’t be allowed.

Im in Ireland. Its laughable.just get a flight to Belfast and get the train. Our simple govt have not figured out how to fix our open border yet.

rulewithawooenfoot nope - last update they were queueing to get on a plane. If they get the ok to fly they’re going to take off immediately.
