In the last lockdown you could take your preschool child with you when meeting 1 other person outdoors for exercise. Anyone know if this is still true under tier 4 restrictions? Thanks.

Watching with interest...I'd presumed it was fine (but keen to know if not).

I’ve seen nothing to the contrary so I’d say it’s fine.

Children under 5 do not count in the limit 1 on 1 limit for exercise according the official tier 4 guidance.

In fact I’ve just checked, and it is ok. Here’s the guidance.

Its all clearly set out on the govt website. Children under five are not included.
