Do you know what the rules for cleaners in tier 4 are?

Just that... we have a lovely cleaner who comes once a week.... Is she still permitted to come? I'm assuming so but others have said no??

If she's lovely then you are exempt and she can come!
Hmm

From Tier 4 rules on gov.uk: Where it is necessary for you to work in other people's homes - for example, for nannies, cleaners or tradespeople - you can do so. Otherwise, you should avoid meeting for work in a private home or garden, where COVID-19 Secure measures may not be in place.

Cleaners can work. Tier 4 guidance says-

Where it is necessary for you to work in other people's homes - for example, for nannies, cleaners or tradespeople - you can do so. Otherwise, you should avoid meeting for work in a private home or garden, where COVID-19 Secure measures may not be in place.

I'm in tier 2 and today have cancelled all my cleaning jobs until second week of January. My clients are all in their seventies and eighties.
When my sons secondry school opens then I will go back, but I dont want to be the cause of spreading the virus into homes and if schools are shut then I take it that there is alot of risk, whatever the tier.

Findahouse21 · 20/12/2020 14:14

I think they can but we've cancelled ours until January, especially as we will all be at home as I feel it places us and her at increased risk as we can't all keep away from her.

Yup that's what I thought.... thanks!
