Can I move house on Boxing Day, T4 to T3?

We have been living with in laws since August when my DH lost his job. I have been on maternity leave and we couldn't afford to keep paying our rent, so our in laws looked after us. I'm returning to work after Xmas as my maternity leave ends, and we are moving in with my parents until we buy our own place in the summer.

We had planned to stay here at our in laws for Xmas day, and leave on Boxing Day. This was to give the kids time to have Xmas with both grandparents and get DS1 settled into nursery before I begin work, and let DS2 meet my mum who will be looking after him when I'm at work.

Can we still move, if not, what do I do about my job
?

I don’t see why you can’t move as it’s basically a long term move.

It is long term, once we arrive at my parents we will be locking down other than my work
