Can my teenage DS see his girlfriend indoors.

DS(15) and his girlfriend want to see each other indoors over the holidays. Probably in our house as we have fewer people. We are in Tier 2 so officially they are only supposed to meet outdoors. However,
they are in the same bubble at school and we are not seeing family indoors over Christmas.
Is this OK? Would you let them?

No, I would not allow it.

Probably only if you joined her families Christmas bubble, if you haven’t already bubbled up with anyone

In Scotland there is an exemption for non cohabiting couples so I've been letting dd see her boyfriend indoors. She doesn't do any other socialising and neither does he

Only if it falls within the 3 household rules (or 2 if in Wales)

So OK from your end, but how many other households is hers planning to see?

Her nan is coming to stay but that's it.
So the way I understand it is they can bubble with each other 23-27th. They will be happy about that. They spend hours together at school so it seems ridiculous not let her come over.

Yep, I would.

I would.

My dd is going to her boyfriends for a week, I don't think it's fair they are told they cannot see each other just because circumstances (different universities) means they don't live together
