Haven't been anywhere and app says I have to self isolate

In the last two weeks I've only walked the dog, alone, without stopping. And been to the supermarket once using self scan and self checkout. Again without stopping.

The app pinged me last night to say I have to isolate.

I know for a fact that my NDN got a + Covid test result just hours before I got the notification to isolate. Their bed backs onto the same wall that ours does.

I only intend to walk the dog and go to pick up a turkey, late at night and masked.

Im certain the app thinks I've been in bed with my neighbour!

I'll never understand why people don't turn the contact tracing element off when they're inside in the home...

This seems to be happening a lot when people’s next door neighbours come down with covid. If you haven’t been anywhere then you don’t have to isolate, switch the app off if your not going anywhere.

I've deleted the app. I'm very careful anyway, as I've explained in OP.

Although frustrating, as you know you’ve not been near anyone to catch it, at least the app is working, if it’s from your neighbours being positive.
