Government has confirmed that legally parents cannot be prosecuted for keeping children at home

The government was sent a pre legal action letter on behalf of vulnerable families. The reply seems to indicate that clinically vulnerable or extremely clinical vulnerable families as well as those where going to school could cause mental distress cannot be prosecuted or advised to deregister.

Hopefully this will bring relief to many families.
