I did mine Sunday but if it's positive does that mean I'll have to skip Christmas?

And NHS said that it didn't matter that I sneezed during the nose bit (it tickled) but does that mean that the whole point of the testing is that it the swap has to make contact with flesh bits in case it's lodged itself there?

It would be 10 days isolation from the day you took the test

Why does the swab have to touch fleshy bits though? Why are they more important than saliva?

They collect mucus samples and test for any virus particles present
