Question for people who have had the vaccine

Or a question to those involved in giving the vaccine. My mum and dad are likely to be offered the vaccine soon, particularly my dad who is 81. He is worried about going to a hospital and the amount of people likely to be there. Please could I have some information about how the giving of the vaccine is organised?

I had it yesterday. Spots on the floor where to stand so remain socially distanced through the whole process
Everyone was wearing masks
Felt safe to me
Total check in, form filling, injection, observation afterwards took 1.5 hours. I was standing for about half of that as no chairs - idk if that was as it was staff and if it may be different if doing older people.
Also told to take no unnecessary bags. I'd have taken kindle if I knew it was going to be so lengthy
