Whole Family Mostly Without Symptoms?

Anyone had a whole family test positive with very mild symptoms? A slightly raised temp in one child that lasted a day. Sickness and fatigue in another child that again only lasted a day. And one of the parents experiencing everything tasting metallic but nothing else. Waiting on test results but seems odd?

I would assume that nobody would have had the whole family testing positive with that range of systems as most of the family aren't eligible for testing. Only the child with the temperature and the parent with a changed sense of smell should have been tested.

That's not my experience, my daughter was tested today and I got a test as well (2 people living with the initial person could). I am a teacher though, so if she is positive then it has big implications for my school (we are at the same school). No-one even blinked at the two of us getting the test and the whole place was empty. I'm in tier 2.

I think the "2 people living with you can also be tested" line, is followed later with, "but they also need to be showing symptoms". That was how it was when we had one of our dc tested a few weeks ago anyway.

The child with temperature, parent with weird taste and fatigued/sick child were tested (on advice). I am the parent with no symptoms who has not been tested. Just wondering if it is covid because of such mild symptoms.
