I've tested positive and have had fever/aches/headaches/loss of smell and taste/cough. Others also tested positive in household with similar symptoms. Didn't want to test my LO and subject her to anything invasive as her symptoms have been fairly mild. She has had a cough, looked a bit tired for a day or 2 and slight fever once but calpol really helped. She has gone off solids a little but drinking milk fine and wet nappies are fine. Gp just said most babies will recover fine at home but keep an eye.
I'm grateful it hasn't been worse but can't help feeling bit anxious about any possible unknown long term effects as it's such a new virus. I do also wonder if her taste buds etc have changed but obviously she can't tell me that.
It would be good to hear from other parents who have had babies of a similar age with suspected or confirmed covid who recovered well to learn about your experiences.
