Scummy mummies 2020 hoodie

Not sure where to post this. But does anyone else find this insensitive? A hoodie with "I survived 2020" on?! Sold by the Scummy Mummies who have a fairly large FB and Insta following. I get it's been a challenging year but there's been thousands who haven't survived 2020 quite literally as they died from COVID

It's fine, you're being over sensitive.

Kokeshi123 · 10/12/2020 08:19

I think you are being insensitive.

Kokeshi123 · 10/12/2020 08:20

OVERsensitive. Not insensitive!

CremeEggThief · 10/12/2020 08:20

I feel proud that DS and I are surviving this year, with all our issues and having no support.

WankPuffins · 10/12/2020 12:51

I find those pair crass, unfunny an irritating but that phrase has been used on lots of things. It's not just them that have used it.

FlibbertyGiblets · 10/12/2020 12:53

Not an issue for me, and I have had bereavements this year.

WhatATimeToBeAlive · 10/12/2020 14:38

Not particularly insensitive, but rather pathetic tbh.

raviolidreaming · 10/12/2020 15:15

£48 for a hoody?!?!

WankPuffins · 10/12/2020 15:29

@raviolidreaming

£48 for a hoody?!?!
Shock bloody hell
FTMF30 · 10/12/2020 15:43

I'm more offended at how shit the hoody is (no cute design or play on words) yet costs £48. You could get that embroidered on to a plain hoody for amuch cheaper price.

WankPuffins · 10/12/2020 15:47

Wow, I just went and had a look. They aren't even nice. Just bog standard lettering on a hoody that's probably a tenner in Primark.

WouldstrokeTomHardy · 10/12/2020 15:52

Just had a look. Their whole ethos is tacky AF. Overpriced tat.

RayOfSunshine2013 · 10/12/2020 15:54

Not something id choose to wear but it wouldn't offend me, or even bother me in the slightest. But people enjoy being offended these days so... go for it

BunsyGirl · 10/12/2020 16:04

TBH I have more of an issue with Tesco whose adverts tell us to eat whatever we bloody want at Christmas despite the fact that obesity is a major risk factor for Covid.

MrsWombat · 10/12/2020 16:15

I think you are being oversensitive although it's not something I would buy either.

Unfortunately, those prices are standard for influencer merch. It's print on demand so the majority of the price will go to the printing company.

ElephantWhaleRabbit · 10/12/2020 17:19

I wouldn't wear it but I don't find it offensive.
