Hi everyone,
I hope this is appropriate. We are currently looking for parents or caregivers of children age 1-5 to take part in a UK study on how covid-19 has affected their child. The study, which has ethical approval from the University of Edinburgh, is part of a larger multi-country study that started in Australia. We are now replicating it in the UK and the survey link is: edinburgh.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_d5V5ggXlfNLzizX
A full information sheet is provided at the start of the link so that you can decide whether to take part or not. If you decide not to, you can simply close the browser.
This is a very important developmental age and to date, we know little about how it has impacted younger children. If you would like to read the report on Australia, the link is: www.childrens.health.qld.gov.au/media-release-children-mental-health-impacted-by-pandemic/
Thanks for taking the time to read this. We know that filling out surveys is not what most people enjoy but we are looking for substantial numbers of parents across the UK to build a picture of how young children have been affected. If you are able to contribute it would be really appreciated. If it is not for you, for whatever reason, thanks for reading anyway.
