Has anyone felt strangely energised after a positive test?

I've been feeling shattered for weeks, so maybe it's been lingering asymptomatically for a while, but I developed a slight cough on Sunday, tested Monday and had a positive result today.

Today I feel fine, just mild cold symptoms, a scratchy throat making me cough and a runny nose. Tbh I only tested because I knew people at work (school) would worry about the cough, never thought for a minute this was a "new continuous dry cough". I am actually quite phlegmy.

Anyway, today I'm full of life. I've done more better quality work today (at home) than I have in weeks, I'm ready to clean the house top to bottom, I'd go for a run if I was allowed to leave the house!

It might be the relief of knowing no more school until after Christmas but I have a leadership position, so I'll still be doing plenty of work.

Anyone else find day 4 brings loads of energy?

Just me then? I've enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine with dinner tonight for the first time in ages.

Just be careful. A colleague was the same and was really quite ill the following week.

By best friend sent me a message on day 4 saying how Covid wasn’t so bad. She was admitted to hospital on day 8. Keep up the fluids and don’t over do it!

A friend had a month or so ago. She's in her third trimester too. She decorated a room and put her Xmas tree up etc. Said she felt like she had a mild cold
