Abstain at least 14 days before first jab; 21 days to next one, and then 42 days more afterwards.

That's killed the uptake of that, then!

Can you imagine what the response here would be...

(Note that's the Russian vaccine, Sputnik 5, for clarity!)

It’s actually Sputnik V for vaccine, for clarity. Wink
Aquamarine1029 · 09/12/2020 17:42

Yeah, I don't see too many Russians following that advice.

PatriciaHolm · 09/12/2020 17:42

I think the Russians may be even boozier than us!

Not as bad as the chances russians sticking to that.

Mindymomo · 09/12/2020 21:16

One thing the government may get right, not order any of this vaccine.

PrivateD00r · 09/12/2020 21:24

Purple I always read the 'V' to mean 5 - is that wrong? I only read news, I don't watch it so haven't heard it said out loud Grin

Yes, dh and I had a tiff about this the other day and I had to eat humble pie after looking it up!
CrunchyCarrot · 09/12/2020 21:57

What's in their vaccine, 100 proof vodka? Grin

XiCi · 10/12/2020 07:22

I doubt this has anything do with the vaccine and is just a way to try and control peoples drinking. Its a massive problem in Russia

Skipsurvey · 10/12/2020 07:24

I dont think my mother would appreciated that instruction!
luckily she is not living in Russia

Changethetoner · 10/12/2020 18:47

Surely everyone knows that the V is the roman numeral for five ?
And X is ten.

Jourdain11 · 10/12/2020 20:31

I'm no anti-vaxxer, but I'm not sure I'd be keen on getting the Russian jab BlushWink
