If my children have to self isolate, do I have to self isolate too??

Hi, not quite as straightforward as it sounds but I just can't find the answer online...

My children have just come back from their dad's (we do 50/50) and he texted this morning to say his baby DD has to be tested as she has a raised temperature...so ex, his partner and my kids have to self isolate.

The kids are now with me and my partner...I think we (my partner and I) don't need to self isolate at the moment (my children displaying no symptoms). Can anyone confirm please?

Thanks

No, as long as your children remain symptom free its just them that need isolate

No one has to isolate, except the baby, unless there's a positive test.

Not unless your kids get symptoms

Only your children have to self isolate. You and your husband can carry on as normal. If they do start showing any symptoms then you need to isolate.

What becomestronger has said isn't correct.

Your children as they have been staying in the same house as the baby need to isolate until the test is back. If its negative they no longer need to isolate.

You and partner dont need to isolate unless your children start to show symptoms x
