I hardly go out these days so I don't know how the latest rules are working. Pls advise.

I need to see a business contact in London.

Do you know if we can meet indoors in a coffee shop like Costa / Starbucks?

Thank you

Yes, if it is purely for business not socialising and not just an excuse eg, you are freelance and don't have a suitable office space.

Yes you can. I had a business meeting like this the other day. We actually chose to sit outside (probably more because I preferred to than him - it was a bit chilly ) but inside is allowed. Try and sit at least 2m apart if you are inside though.

If you could meet in a coffee shop why couldn't you meet online? Struggling to see what benefit a coffee shop would be?

Yes you could meet in a coffee shop (though get on with it because I have now seen that London may be moved into tier 3).

However as a pp says, unless you are handing over paper documents or similar can't you meet online?
