What were your symptoms if you tested positive?

I'm sitting at home as I'm WFH. I've been feeling slightly under the weather the last couple of days. Just tiredness, sore throat and runny nose.

Today though, I feel tightness in my chest but no cough.

I haven't got a temperature or loss of taste/smell.

I'm due into the office tomorrow for meetings that cannot be done remotely (I am shadowing a new team as part of the Covid response). I think it's unlikely to be covid) - but could it be?

If you had a positive test - what were your symptoms?

It could be. Are you on the Zoe covid symptom app? I put in sore throat, runny nose and dizziness and it sent me for a test which I did this morning. I'm also due in f2f meetings Thursday so wanted to find out.

I know someone who had cold symptoms runny /stuffy nose watery eyes sore throat hoarse voice. no temp no coughing

  • tested positive.
Also someone who just felt ‘off’ - like a cold was coming on. Also positive

Mine definitely started with tiredness, sore throat and tight chest. Progressed to high temp and cough 24 hours later. I would be cautious op.

I am waiting on a result, I had the test at 3.45pm yesterday. I feel tired, sleeping alot, my muscles ache, and I have a headache and a runny nose.

All of this could of course be explained by just general malaise, the fact that I run alot, I have a mild cold etc.

I am going to have to isolate till next Wednesday anyway as I had a facial with a beautician last Wednesday who had a client who tested positive just before me and has since tested positive herself. But if I test positive will dictate whether DH and DS2 have to isolate.....

Have had to cancel all the things I had on this weekend but hey, that's standard 2020 right? Sad

Weird headache (I'm not one for headaches normally) and a runny nose, assumed headcold at first. 24 hours later suddenly lost all sense of smell so then went for test (positive). Runny nose went after 1 day, persistant headache lasted about 6 days.

Me: initially a headache which lasted nearly 3 weeks, slight dry cough, then bad sinus pain, then loss of taste/smell after day 5 which lasted 3+ weeks

Husband: runny nose (which is why it took him a few days to get a test as he thought it was just that), bit of a dry cough, headache for 2 weeks, lost his taste/smell for just 2 days in total

I had a runny nose, sneezing and felt a bit achy and tired for two days. No cough, sore throat, temperature, shortness of breath or tightness in chest at all. I didn't have any loss of taste or smell until a brief loss of smell a few days after the positive test.

Thanks all. I'm never ill but do feel like I have some kind of bug. I'll speak to work and may take some annual leave to cover my days.
