To think that my SIL shouldn’t break the rules and put us at risk

My SIL is planning to travel from a tier 2 area in England to Scotland to be home with her family for a month over Christmas. Her parents are older and poorly so my husband wants her to come here first and “quarantine” (but not really) before heading to theirs a week later. I REALLY don’t want any of this to happen as I’m 7 weeks pregnant and worried for his parents sake but also don’t really feel like I have a say? She’s putting us all at risk and breaking the rules and everyone is fine with it except me 😞 to speak up or just accept that I can’t control grown adults who don’t want to respect the rules?!

Of course you have a say if she’s planning on coming to your house. I wouldn’t want her there either, your pregnant and supposed to be strictly observing the rules so it’s fine for you to say no.
