Anyone got their appointment to get the vaccine?

Wondering as the plans have been all over the place in the last few weeks. There were the risk categories putting care home staff and residents first, then it was to be nhs staff first, now care home staff and over 80s inpatient/outpatients in hospitals and care home staff.

There must be a lot of admin involved in booking the appointments and contacting people etc. As the plans have changed a lot my feeling is that this initial roll out will be muddled/take longer than it should.

We’ve had texts from GP saying vaccinations will start from January and they were hopeful it will be the Oxford vaccine. I presume they don’t have facilities to store the current vaccine.

NHS clinician - I've been keeping an eye on my emails, but no information at all so far on availability or how to book.

Intriguing! Must be very confident the Oxford vaccine will be approved then...
