3 year old slight temp yesterday and sinus symptoms

Today, cough started, gave calpol but cough seems to have abated.

What are you confused about? You need to isolate and test due to the temperature and cough?

You need to order a test and isolate. Fortunately, I think test results are coming back quite quickly.

Yes, we've found this, managed to get test and results within less than 20 hours.

Sorry if my first reply was a bit short with you OP, but please just get a test to be on the safe side. Hope your little one is ok though.
