And I have strong feelings it'll come back positive which means that we all have to isolate. My question is, if for example, my son gets Covid on day 10 etc so we need to isolate for a further 14 days? I live with my mum and 2 sons.
I know isolation is effecting a lot of people at the min but I get extreme anxiety when it comes to not leaving the house, I can't even explain!!
Obviously more concerned that my mum is ok then anything!!

I don't think you do. He would need to stay in for a further 10 days but i think your time is still up after 14 days.

Which is a bit strange but it's how i understand it.

I think you do 14 days from your mum, then if anyone in the house tests positive their 10 days start again, but nobody else has to stay with them. Obviously for children, it means an adult has to stay with them, but you could share that with your mum so you can leave the house.

Hi, how did your mums test go? I’m not sure how it all works but I’m trying to find out similar information, I have been told I can contact public health England tomorrow for any advice
