ONS PAID COVID TEST. Results and voucher

ONS covid testing paid survey. How long did your results take and how did you receive them?
Also the vouchers how long did they take to arrive we've just had week 2 tests taken yesterday but no results yet from week 1 last week or any vouchers yet

We've been doing this since August and we didn't start getting result letters until October. We usually get our letters and vouchers a week to 10 days from taking the test.

So I've just had letters in the post to tell me the results but nothing to say about the vouchers. Do they come in the post?

You receive the vouchers via email. This has usually been roughly 10 days after the swabbing for me, although the first one took longer. I know someone who had to call and chase them up, as they didn’t arrive.

Swab results take around 7-10 days to come back in the post, although I’m told that they call you as soon as they know if it’s positive. As it’s asymptomatic testing for research purposes, the ONS tests are at the back of the queue in the testing labs. If the lab yours goes to is overwhelmed with symptomatic patients at the time, it’ll take longer.

Ah I was about to start my own thread but actually had some success with the search function for a change! Surprised they take so long and come by post rather than text/email, thought we'd be getting our results from our first swab on Friday soon.

Hi an update for you the results came about a week later after the test by post and the vouchers have took nearly 2 weeks and came by email
