How long after contact did you get symptoms?

So, last weekend I spent the weekend with my support bubble. A member of that household got symptoms Sunday and tested positive Monday.

I am a teacher so am now off school for 2 weeks.

I got a slight temperature on the Tuesday so got tested on the Wednesday and it was Negative.

Now, I am not going to go out anywhere regardless of responses but am curious.

Would you say I'm in the clear now? How likely is it i will get sick?

If I already tested negative 3 days after contact and have no symptoms a week later surely I can relax?

Mostly wondering if my children, who haven't been in contact with the positive case, are in the clear now.

Your children didn't need to isolate. You still need to isolate for the full 14 days due to the incubation period. I think the average time to getting it is around 5 days after contact but can be longer hence the 14 days isolation

Thank you. I'm aware my children don't need to isolate. I just mean, if I am now unlikely to have caught it I can't stop worrying that I might pass it to them. If that makes sense ?

Was in contact on the Wednesday and didn't develop symptoms until 8 days after. And tested positive.

Neighbour has a puppy. She stood at her gate cuddling puppy. I stood about a meter away but also stepped forwards and petted the puppy. I was there about 8 minutes. We were both outside.

I think this was Friday morning.

She's just had a positive test and is isolating.

Should I now isolate?

I saw my bubble DM, 80, indoors on Sunday. Should I tell her or will that just worry her?
