We had tickets booked to a Christmas event it’s the only thing for the children that we have found and that we had planned the venue is reopening this weekend here too and we are in tier 3.
The venue are refunding tickets to people under tier three which is good because it cost a fortune but lots of people are saying that there is no need for Tier three people not to travel because of this excerpt from the government website. I have circled the part in yellow that people are using to say that it is okay for them to travel but the section below it in red says exactly the opposite. There are other summaries out there that clearly states no travelling should be done between tiers unless you are travelling through.
So mumsnet hive which is it would we have been allowed to go to this event from tier 3 or not? Would you?
I know we are doing the socially responsible thing despite feeling we could probably have done perfectly happily and successfully without consequence for anyone
but it does Irk me that so many people will just go anyway. I know I need to stop trying to concern myself with what other people do
