I’m in a tier 2 area and want to travel to a tier 3 area to do a couple of property viewings. Is this currently allowed?

Re tier 3
The public are also advised not to travel in and out of these areas, other than for work, education, accessing youth services or caring responsibilities

Assuming you are in England, Tiers aren't currently in operation.

However, under the current lockdown, estate agents are still open. I would guess it depends whether you really count it as essential right now.

“Advised”? So can I just not take their advice and go anyway? Confused

Yes you can travel to view houses if you are wanting to move house. Travel has always been guidance, not law & for you to make your own judgement. You’ve been allowed to travel to view houses anywhere in lockdown which in theory is more strict than the tier system 🤷🏼‍♀️
