I have to go in for an operation on 4th December. I will be in and out the same day but they have said I must not be left alone for minimum of 48 hours.

I am picking my DM up on the evening of the 3rd and bringing her to my house. She lives alone, I live alone but I bubble with my EXH (long story).

My neighbour is a curtain twitchier and generally she likes no one and no one likes her (very aggressive). So, if she were to call the Police on me because I have someone outside of my bubble (which is not allowed in tier 2) to stay the week, would I be in trouble or would the Police say it is caring duties.

The Police will have many other things to do.

But yes, that would count as caring.

It’s caring duties 100%

Your neighbour sounds like a right nightmare.
