Working in a school and wearing a mask

I work a few days a week in a school. Staff wear face coverings in the corridors and can wear them in the classroom but don't. I have seen one teacher wear a visor in lessons but that's the only person. The days I am in I wear a mask all day but it leaves me feeling badly dehydrated for a few days. So whilst I'm not catching covid it's making me ill in a different way.

I'm finding it difficult as I want to protect the children, staff and myself. Can anyone recommend what I could wear in school as I'm struggling with the mask.

If you're feeling dehydrated it will be due to not drinking enough. A mask can't make you dehydrated.
I've found that the best masks are the surgical ones as they feel more "breathable".

I find fabric masks suffocating and much prefer the bog-standard blue disposables (I make no apology for landfill, I'm risking my health as it is). Could that help?
