How to get to hospital?

I am ECV and have an urgent hospital appointment that I can't miss. I don't drive. The journey is about 15 minutes in a car. Would it be safer to get a taxi or to get the bus/ train which would be easier to distance but 30 minutes at least. I live in a high case area.

How would you usually go? Taxi and mask, friend/volunteer with car?

Get a taxi, wear a mask

Taxi with the windows open.

I would do taxi and mask unless your public transport is very reliable.

My husband would normally drive me but that isn't an option this time so I'm stressing.

If you are ECV you are entitled to NHS funded patient transport under national NHS guidance. Phone the department you will be attending to find out how to arrange this
