Will children be included in the rule of 6 again from next week? Currently children under school age don't count when meeting up with 1 other person, so I'm hoping that will continue...

I’m hoping that too but can see it going back to how it was. Makes no sense for babies!

Looks like they will be included from the website: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/local-restriction-tiers-what-you-need-to-know#high-alert Sad

Although it does say that families with a child under 1 can form a support bubble.

It’s going back to how is was I think 😩 which is gutting. But arguably its to minimise socialising. In lockdown, you can see one other adult. Realistically, each adult probably doesn’t have more than 2 kids under 5. So 6 people in total.
But rule of 6, you could meet 5 other adults who each have two children under 5. Which is a whole lot more mixing. Be 18 people.

Yeah I get that but babies that aren't even mobile yet really shouldn't be included though! Angry

That’s disappointing. But seeing as I could only go for a walk with one person at a time this last month I’m not too upset about it, now allowed up to 6 and a support bubble so a huge improvement.
