We think we had covid in March. Myself first, then DH, then the kids - the classic symptoms of dry coughs and high temperatures (although no tests back then). DH went on to have a covid toe and breathlessness on and off for the next few weeks.
Two of my symptoms involved a strange, bubbling/crunching sensation in one lung about 2 days before I started feeling ill. It caused no discomfort or pain, but I was aware of it when breathing in. When the cough started, I felt like (sorry if this is gross) I was coughing up a strange bitter-tasting liquid - not enough to spit out, just an unpleasant taste in my mouth. I didn’t ever feel seriously unwell, although an annoying cough lingered for weeks.
I haven’t seen anything about the bubbling lung or strange butter taste so I was curious to know if anyone else has had it!
